Cold night

Very cold and cool night.

Decided to write a poem about it.

Gusts of chilly winds sweeps through the silent night bringing it to life once in a while.

Cuddled in my room with layers of blanket wrapped around my body like a snake wrapping its prey, i felt warmth. 

The windows defended itself against the brutal winds, occasionally with seeps of cold air filtering through the tiniest cracks.

Thick black clouds enshrouded the entire sky, as the temperature plunges drastically.

The first few drops of sparkling rain begins to fall off, shining under the moonlight like diamonds.

A rhythmic melody starts to form as more drops of rain begin to splash on the window pane.

A flash of lighting illuminated the tenebrous sky followed by a sonorous rage of thunder.

A cold peaceful night slowly evolving into a maniacal thunderstorm.

A night I shall never forget.

P.S. I love this weather alot(:

This is a myth.

How true is it, on one knows.

Statues absorbed light from the moon and sun everyday and it gains energy slowly day by day.

Inside the statue is a demon, i dun noe y it cannot be a good guy and must always be a demon.

And when this demon has gained enough energy, it will break free.

So when this is about to happen, the god/heavens would of course know about it, and therefore would struck a bolt of lighting to the statue killing the demon inside it.

My dad said that last time at chinatown, got the Hindu temple.( A very famous temple which is still there today )

Got alot of cows' statues on it. 

Rumours has it that at night, one of the cow statue head would turn.

Soon after this, lighting struck the temple and that particular cow's statue de head was struck off.

Could the merlion insident recently been related to this myth?

My dad was telling me all these stories while we were having dinner.

MIGRAINE!

First of all, what is Migraine.
Is a illness when ur blood pressure is low.

Insufficient blood goes to your brain.

How to tell whether a migraine is coming?

Ur left eye will start to have problems seeing clearly. ( why left eye? ask de doctor, how i know? i have been through enough experience(:    )

From lying down/ squatting down, when you stand up, you will feel giddy and as though you wanna fall.

While walking, you felt that you were floating.

What happens during a migraine.

From interuptions in vision, your left eye will start to ache. A pounding kind of pain felt on behind de eye. And is unbearable pain.

Headache.

During its optimum time, you will feel nauseous.

Followed by that is an array of pain from ur eyes and head and you would really feel like vomitting.

What causes a migraine?

Lack of sleep.

Skipping of meals.

And for certain people, their red blood cell count is low and migraine is inevitable.

When having a migraine, what to do, and how to prevent it.

When you feel a migraine coming, quickly tilt ur heard upwards and focus ur eyes on  the furthest thing and focus on it. Start regulating ur breathing. Take deep breaths. Dont look downwards at all cost.

If you are at home, go to your bed and lie down and sleep. Is the best solution i tell you.

If u have migraines before and consulted a doctor before, be sure to bring de medication around.

Better save then sorry.

To prevent it, take your meals regularly.

Get ample sleep.

Consume more sugary food but i didnt ask you to eat until you get diabetes. Moderation do play a role.

How long does a migraine last usually?

From my experiences, on average it lasts for about 3 hours(:

Especially when you are eating pop corn. The taste is just getting better, den they screen a burnt corpse or some dead people with their hearts ripped off.
